In my hot little hands I have paperwork from the Council to say "HOUSE APPROVED" - oh yay, doing a huge happy dance with a smile this _______________________ wide on my face :O) :O) :O)
Typical of Councils to take their sweet time but musn't complain because when my friend up the road built a few years ago they took over 8 months to approve applications - someone must've put a rocket under them cos now it's 8-10 weeks.
Did I say I was waiting patiently?? hmmm well I did try....lol. It's just getting so close to starting now that maybe just maybe I was being a tad impatient in the last couple of weeks.
Now it's a matter of waiting for builder to organise our final meeting and yep you guessed it I'm away for the whole week on a work trip :O( oh well something to look forward to on my return.
This weekend will be a busy one as we have to fence the "gerls" in whilst they are building, otherwise you could imagine the cheeky little devils are so inquisitive they'd be traisping through the fresh laid cement to see what's going on! Come out in the morning and they'd be set solid....lol!! Could be an interesting talking point in the house I spose....hehe.
Had a lovely guy in today and he bricked up the septic tank in the house we live in now so next time it has to be emptied you just lift the lid off and stick the hose in.
Monday was spent digging up the grass and soil around it to find the lid - not a terribly nice job - DS14 helped me and decided that being a septic tank emptier for a life job was really not for him...lol.
Well better get back to work now, just wanted to share our news with you all - soooooooo very happy right at this minute.
