Building our new home!

Hello Everyone,

I'm sitting here waiting patiently - what's that advert "It will happen, but not overnight".

Next week is the week apparently (of course weather permitting and rain is scheduled - hopefully only light showers though.

The rainwater tank is over 3/4 full now which is wonderful. Will be full for when we move in :O)

I've been busy in the meantime, writing a list of all the extras we need to purchase up to the end of building for the house.

I've broken it down to monthly list and know what needs to be bought each month in order of when it's needed. So only another $10k odd to find...hehe. I'll just reach deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep down into my pockets, shall I...lol!! Baby steps and we'll get there.

So people's I do hope that next week I will be able to do the WOOHOOOOOOOOOO it's started post.

Fingers and toes crossed.

All the vegies took a hammering last night as we had a big frost. Hopefully they will recover. Picked my first crop of snow peas for my lovely husband today (I do not eat anything that looks or sounds like peas....ugh!).

The 'gerls' are doing very well and have been averaging about 11-12 eggs per day even in the middle of winter so am very happy with that. Nothing more I hate than having to resort to buying shop eggs.

So from out the back amongst the weeds.....

Until next week..............

Millie xx

Hi Millie, I absolutely loathe peas but I love snow peas...they do taste different from each other...
