Morning Everyone
Talking to you from my sick bed today (but so over being in bed and told to rest...hehe) so thank goodness for laptops.
Since my last post we have had a bit more progress with having the house pad raised and levelled, then we've had a week of rain so the pad will be nice and compacted and settled now.
It's really exciting to watch the progress (we live next door) although the gerls aren't as impressed as we are because when the builders are on site they have to be in a small pen whereas they are used to freeranging the whole block, but in saying that they do like the builders working hours...he leaves at 4pm so they come out for 1 1/2 hours to scratch around before bed.
I wont be letting them out when we lay the slab though - have visions of little gerls stuck fast in wet cement....lol!
Tomorrow is Monday so we'll see what happens next in the process.
